Devoleena Bhattacharjee was born on Wednesday, August 22, 1990 in Sivasagar, Assam.
She attended Godhula Brown Memorial English High School in Assam. She earned his degree in commerce (specialization in accounting). Devoleena later completed a course in metallurgical design and development at the National Institute of Technology in New Delhi. After that, She started working as a jewelry designer at Gili India Ltd., Mumbai.
Devoleena turned to music and dancing from a young age. She started learning classical music at the age of 6 and passed Sangeet Visharad Part 1 in classical music from Bhatkhande Music Institute, Lucknow.
She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and received his training from Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai. She has won many dance competitions. Earlier, Bhattacharjee worked as a jewelry designer at Gili India Ltd. in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Devoleena is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and actress. Bhattacharjee was first discovered when Bhattacharjee auditioned for the reality show Dance India Dance 2. Devoleena’s debut was in NDTV Imagine’s Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto (released July 4, 2011) as Bani.
