Devoleena Bhattacharjee was born on Wednesday, August 22, 1990 in Sivasagar, Assam.
She attended Godhula Brown Memorial English High School in Assam. She earned his degree in commerce (specialization in accounting). Devoleena later completed a course in metallurgical design and development at the National Institute of Technology in New Delhi. After that, She started working as a jewelry designer at Gili India Ltd., Mumbai.
Devoleena turned to music and dancing from a young age. She started learning classical music at the age of 6 and passed Sangeet Visharad Part 1 in classical music from Bhatkhande Music Institute, Lucknow.
She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and received his training from Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai. She has won many dance competitions. Before becoming an actress, Devoleena has appeared in many dramas like “Miri Jiyor”, “Annie Frank’s Diary”, “Ashimot Jaar Heraal Hima” and “Sonitkuwari”. She participated in the Sangeet Natak Academy Youth Festival and won the best award. price for page- ‘Maya.’
Earlier, Bhattacharjee worked as a jewelry designer at Gili India Ltd. in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Devoleena is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and actress. Bhattacharjee was first discovered when Bhattacharjee auditioned for the reality show Dance India Dance 2. Devoleena’s debut was in NDTV Imagine’s Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto (released July 4, 2011) as Bani. Devoleena starred as Gopi Modi, the lead in the Star Plus drama Saath Nibhaana Saathiya after Giaa Manek, who previously played the role, was fired from the series in June 2012.
In 2014 and again in 2016, the actor considered quitting the show due to frequent running, but Bhattacharjee remained a part of the show and in June 2017 Devoleena completed 5 years. In the same month, Bhattacharjee underwent spinal surgery for an injury he sustained on the show in 2013. The series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ended on July 23, 2017. Devoleena joined as a celebrity contestant in the thirteenth season of the reality show Bigg Boss, in 2019. Bhattacharjee left the film due to health issues in November 2019.
In October 2020, Devoleena joined the second season of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya for her character Gopi Modi, and Devoleena resigned in November. In 2012, he played Na Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai Na Teri Meri Love Story. Devoleena played the role of Gopi in the feuilleton televishon Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in 2013. In 2014, comedy classes were held.
