Shriya Saran Bhatnagar was born on September 11, 1982. She is popularly known as Anna’s model and actress. An Indian model known for her work in South Indian films, Bollywood and American cinema. Saran grew up in Dehradun and spent his youth in Haridwar.
The year 2001 was when his dance teacher gave him the opportunity to perform in Renoo Nathan’s first music video “Thirakti Kyun Hawa”, which attracted the attention of various Saran Indian actors. As Saran hoped to gain fame as a dancer, she was offered a musical role. Thus Saran made her debut in the film industry in 2001 with the Telugu film Ishtam.

She started learning Kathak and Rajasthani music from his mother since childhood. He visited the open theater “Jhankar” at BHEL. After that, at the age of 14, he trained Guru Shovana Narayan in Kathak and Lilli.
Shriya was first made and featured in Renu Nathan’s music video “Thirkati Kyun Hawa”. The music video was shot in Benares. He was later seen in a Ramoji Films Production video.

Shriya’s first Tamil movie was ‘Enakku 20 Unakku 18’ in the year 2003. She starred in the movie ‘Mazhai’ with Jeyam Ravi which did well at the box office. Her most sought-after role in Tamil was opposite Rajinikant in ‘Sivaji: The Boss’. He was selected for the role beating many actors in the film industry. Sivaji is the most expensive film produced in Indian cinema.
